Cashmere loves water: wash it every 3 to 4 wears and it will only get more beautiful over time. Hand washing is strongly recommended, but you can also machine wash your cashmere by following our guidelines.

For best results, turn your cashmere inside out, use a cold cycle (20°C max) with no spin.

Place it in a mesh laundry bag to protect it from drum friction.

Fabric softeners and traditional detergents containing bleaching agents and enzymes are not suitable for cashmere. Their composition could cause the colour and luminosity to fade.

Lay the cashmere flat on a clean towel. Do not hang it to dry, as the weight of the water could stretch and distort the shape. Using a tumble dryer is strongly discouraged, as is drying your cashmere near any heat source.

Turn your cashmere inside out and steam gently using a damp pressing cloth.

Pilling is a natural phenomenon caused by excess fibres. Add white vinegar to the rinse water and use a cashmere comb if needed.

Cedar wood, essential oils, lavender flowers… choose a natural moth repellent to keep moths away and release a delicate woody scent.
